The Organización Continental Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Estudiantes (OCLAE), or the Continental Organization of Latinamerican and Carribean Students is a progressive movement founded in Havana, Cuba in 1966, that stands for the eradication of illiteracy, equal access and opportunity to free public education, and the wellbeing of students in their fight against imperialism, colonialism, hunger, and social injustices which threaten human dignity. The organization includes over 38 student federations and represents 24 countries on the American continent alone.
