天书奇谭 The Legend of Sealed Book

The legend of sealed book is an animated film produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio in 1983. The animation tells the story of immortal Yuan Gong descending to earth to teach children “Dan Sheng” (means"born from egg") to fight wits and courage with fox spirits to eliminate harm for the people.
The type design in the poster is very interesting, because the animation is mainly for children. The four Chinese characters of "The Legend of Sealed Book" are with  the pinyin of hollow art characters in the background. The four characters "天书奇谭" are red art characters. The arc design outside the square characters is to imitate the text design of seal carving style.
