The first Barbie logo (1959-1975) was created by Elliot and Ruth Handler who are also founders of Mattel Creations. The Barbie logo is bright pink, written in cursive, has italic font, and has a classy but playful feel to it. Over the years, the Barbie logo has gone through several changes, but it has also stayed consistent to the theme of Barbie. In 2009 and up until today Mattel has brought back the original Barbie logo design from 1959 to convey to consumers that the brand reamains untouched.
