The Graphic Language of Neville Brody by

20

This is volume 1  out of 3 of the series, “The Graphic Language of Neville Brody,” capturing the innovative work of Neville Brody, designer, typographer, and art director widely known for his experimental typography designs. This volume collects all the work of Brody in the 1980s. In this book, presented are some of his custom-designed typography, which tended to lean into bold, condensed, sans-serif typefaces that are used and digitalized today, and geometric typography as well. Highlighted in this book is the work he did for The Face magazine, which rebranded typography used in magazine publications by rejecting clean styles of the late 70s.
