This funky and visually chaotic WET Magazine cover was designed by April Greiman in 1979. Its bright colors and geometric shapes lend themselves heavily to the art styles that were about to emerge in the 80s era. As shown, there are different versions to this cover that show differences in the ways the eyes of the model are covered. The third image shows the cover without the name or eyes being covered at all.
April Greiman was one of the most popular American graphic designers from the 80s who is also known for being among the first designers to accept computers as a tool for design upon their invention. She was also one of the main contributors in bringing the European “New Wave” art style to America in the 70s and 80s.
