ICOGRADA= the International Council of Graphic Design Associations
It was established on April 27th, 1963, by two people called Peter Kneebone and Willy de Majo.
The cover of the book was made by a collective group called Grapus in France. Grapus is a collective of graphic artists who have created designs that cross the best parts of daily design with the best parts of society.
Their work blends with the public realm and maintains a style that attracts people's attention and communicates with them.
Because the works belonged to the public realm, they not only served to transmit their designs in a way that people could interact with them, but they also sought to determine the time and timing of people's exposure to them. I realized that this is a point in common between Grapus and ICOGRADA, for which I worked on the cover of this book.
ICOGRADA mentions that this book is not about its council. This is a book about the significance of graphic design and its proof of existence, and about ICOGRADA's 25 years of progress from 1963 to the year of publication, its present, and its future prospects.
All of them have been working and hoping for a design that will change in diverse ways in the future while continuing to seek the raison d'etre of graphic design up to now.
