The design of Spice & Herb features different images for each spice. When Taku Sato designs a product, the most important factor for him is ensuring a long-lasting design. He states that if a design works well, people do not consciously recognize it as a design. The essence of design is not about standing out but about fulfilling its original purpose and functioning naturally.

The packaging of Spice & Herb includes both a word and an image representing each herb. This design helps consumers understand what each spice is. Even though the product itself is small, the design effectively conveys information to consumers.
