This poster, designed by Hapshash and the Coloured Coat, was made in 1967 in order to promote environmental issues and awareness.

British designers Michael English and Nigel Waymouth created Hapshash and the Coloured Coat. This partnership became influential in the counterculture movement, as they designed countless famous psychedelic musical posters.

Hapshash and the Coloured Coat were heavily inspired by other cultures and ethnicities. They would utilize iconography and religious symbols found all over the globe, like Hinduism in the Middle East, throughout many of their designs. For example, the Eastern spiritual influences are clear as a religious figure in the middle of the design surrounds different elements throughout the poster.

The stylistic choices found on this poster were prevalent throughout the counterculture movement, such as vibrant colors, screen-printed graphics, fluid bubble typography, and elements of collage.
