Keikhosro Khoroush (born in 1941 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian calligrapher, painter, and author. He graduated from Tehran University in 1966, earning first rank. Khoroush learned traditional Iranian calligraphy under the cofounder of the Iranian Calligraphers Association Great Master Hossein Mirkhani. In 1977, Khoroush received the Great Master rank from the Iranian Calligraphers Association.

Khoroush specializes in traditional Nasta'liq calligraphy and is considered to be one of the finest contemporary Iranian calligraphers. Ayatul Kursi, illuminated by Soheila Golestani, is one of Khoroush's many examples of Nasta'liq calligraphy. Ayatul Kursi ("Throne of Allah") is the 255th verse of the 2nd chapter of the Quran (al-Baqarah) where Allah reveals himself to humanity. It is widely regarded as one of the most important verses in the Quran and is frequently memorialized in Islamic art.

Khoroush's Ayatul Kursi is a contemporary manuscript of the Throne Verse in classical Nasta'liq style. The delicate strokes and extraordinary detail are exemplary of Khoroush's mastery.  The exceptional calligraphy, carefully drawn ornaments, and vibrant colors intensify the sacred nature of the text.
