Blue Monday, New Order

23

"Blue Monday" is a single by the British rock band New Order, released on March 7, 1983, through Factory Records. Its cover designed by British art director and graphic designer Peter Saville alongside Canadian designer Brett Wickens. Inspired by a 5¼-inch floppy disk, the cover does not directly display the band's name or the song title. Instead, the information is encoded using a series of colored blocks, with the key to deciphering it hidden on the back cover of New Order’s album Power, Corruption & Lies
