In this picture, he designed the year of 1996 as a box, separate to 12 small boxes, and separate them more to all 365 days as each small blocks. The design is incredibly simple and monochromatic however, gives a curiosity to the audience. This designing idea was unprecedented and futuristic around 1990s in Japan.
