ChicagoX- Chicago

14

Chicago X is the eighth studio album by the American rock band Chicago, released in 1976. The album cover is one of the most iconic in Chicago's discography. Designed by renowned American art director and graphic designer John Berg, the cover features a partially unwrapped chocolate bar, similar to the packaging of Hershey's chocolate bars at the time, with the band’s logo printed on it. The logo, also designed by Berg, became the band’s primary visual icon. In 1977, John Berg won the Grammy Award for Best Album Package for his design of Chicago X. Beyond this album, Berg's series of album covers for Chicago are widely considered to be "true milestones in album cover design."
