Awazu Kiyoshi created the design for the Contemporary Exhibition from the 5th to the 20th edition. The colorful background is harmonized with black-and-white cows. The English title is emphasized by placing the title inside the cow. Random toys are lined up in the background, drawing attention with their childlike playfulness.
His unique and colorful style is consistently seen in his posters, including this one, where he incorporates a slanting background and a building in the lower-left corner, a design element also featured in the 7th edition poster. The building in the lower-left corner comes from the Monument to the Third International in Russia.
