In this editorial cartoon released by the Philippines's first newspaper outlet after the Spanish colonialization, President Quezon was shouting his support for the woman suffrage movement. Additionally, in the illustration because of he said, the citizens are shown as supporting his candidacy. The illustration is similar to American comic art which is what it was influenced by.
