Nihon Chinbotsu

14

The associated designer is Suehiro Maruo, the author of  Shoujo Tsubaki, a Japanese manga. This is a CD jacket of Nihon Chinbotsu, a 2nd album released by R-Shitei, a Japanese Visual-kei band, on February 01, 2012.

I believe it contributes to the history of graphic design by reflecting R-Shitei’s own visual style. The title derives from the novel written by Sakyo Komatsu. There is a broken handrail and statue in accordance with the title. In terms of color, the use of black, pink, and various green expresses the cooped-up atmosphere. The design indicates the message of songs visibly.
