This postcard was created by Herbert Bayer in 1923. Its purpose was to promote the Bauhaus exhibition that was held in Weimar from June to September 1923. The postcard was full of simple shapes, such as squares and cubes. Herbert Bayer used three colors: orange, black, and light beige. The typography reflects the Bauhaus focus on functionality and clarity.
