Steff Geissbühler, a été formé à l'école de design de Bâle (Suisse) entre 1958 et 1964 et mène sa carrière aux Etats-Unis depuis 1967.

Steff Geissbühler a réalisé cette affiche en 1964. Par mail, M. Geissbühler donne ces explications quant à la réalisation de cette affiche: "I’m very proud of having created this graphic with my photographer since it looks like contemporary computer graphics, but is in fact very low tech.I simply used a reversed and wrong-reading photostat of the type and shaped it into a cone wide on top and narrow on the bottom.
At the bottom of the cone I put a reflective Christmas ball. With a camera overhead and shooting straight down on top of the curled photostat, the image was created, reflected, and the type was right reading. 
It became the front and back cover (reversed) of a large brochure about the creative studio at J.R. Geigy (Geigy Publicity) where I worked as a graphic designer. "
