This iconic sign was designed to give a warm welcome to the people visiting Las Vegas. On the back, it reads, “Drive Carefully, Come Back Soon” The sign features flashing neon lights to give the sense of movement and the word “Welcome” is written on silver dollars as a representation of the states nickname, “The Silver State” Mrs. Willis never trademarked the design, stating that it was a gift to the city.
