New York City is also the location of Fortune Headquarters. Two typefaces are used for the cover design: Annonce/Aurora V and Century Expanded.
Leo Lionni (1910–1999) was a self-taught designer who participated in painting and advertising art. He moved to the United States in 1939, which eventually led to him becoming art director of Fortune magazine. Fortune, Vol. 61, No.2 was the February 1960 issue, which is the same year Lionni left both the magazine and the U.S. to return to Italy.
