Poster Design (Unrealized) for Bauhaus Exhibition by Herbert Bayer

850

This design sketch for a poster reflects Bauhaus thinking. It features bold  and simple Bauhaus elements through it's use of geometry, sharp lines, angles, and primary colors. Bauhaus design aimed to be functional and accessible despite art culture's historically wealthy demographic and large inclusion of decorative aesthetics. Bauhaus design, with its affordable, accessible, utilitarian nature, still recieves valuable praise and acclaim.
