Please Do It… | Tokyo Metro Campaigns (2008-2010)  by Bunpei Yorifuji

Bunpei Yorifuji's "Please Do It..." Tokyo Metro campaigns, running from 2008 to 2010, were commissioned by the Tokyo Metro Cultural Foundation to promote proper passenger etiquette. Each month, a new poster was displayed across Tokyo Metro's 168 stations and inside subway cars. The posters featured a recurring middle-aged couple, representing typical commuters, reacting to exaggerated depictions of inappropriate behaviour. This approach effectively highlighted undesirable actions, encouraging passengers to maintain decorum. In 2010, to mark the campaign's second anniversary, the tagline evolved from "Please do it at home" to "Please do it again," shifting focus to positive behavior.
