Oracular Spectacular (Album Cover)

This cover was created for the 2007 debut album Oracular Spectacular performed by American indie rock band MGMT.  The photo used for the album's front cover features the duo's members from left to right: Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden, dressed in primitive outfits against a beach setting.

The photograph was shot by Sam Fleischner, as stated in the album's liner notes and was shot during the video shoot for the band's debut single, ‘Time to Pretend.’ The cover features the band logo, set in a block-letter like font. This logo was created by band member Andrew VanWyngarden, as stated in a 2009 interview for the Orange Warsaw Festival.
