This poster for the City of Vienna’s Music and Theater Festival was one of Joseph Binder’s first commissioned works.  He was a pioneer among designers, focusing on design as a method of visual communication through art in its simplest forms.  He used rudimentary overprint techniques to create geometric human representations, amplifying the influence of the avant garde.
