Locations Made
This is a photo of Deuel Drug, a pharmacy that operated in Boone, Iowa between 1950 - 1986 by Milo Deuel and his father, Frank. This photo is from 1979, when the second storefront location opened at 615 Marshall St. The logo is really impressive considering the owners' resources at the time while living in a small town. As for most pharmacists, the mortar and pestle were an integral part of operation, and were included in a fun way in the logo. Unfortunately there is no information about who designed the logo, as the details have been lost with time. Attached also is a photo of the original storefront and logo from 1950 at 715 Story St, so you can see how the brand evolved.
