The Rambler was the student publication of the State University agricultural and Technical College at Farmingdale presently Farmingdale State College-SUNY. This issue of “The Rambler” in particular opens with the new name and new image for campus security, the new license plate on their patrol cars spelling P-O-L-I-C-E, therefore enforcing their image as many do not see them as certified police officers although these officers are indeed certified figures. Continuing on, new opportunities for careers are offered to students, study abroad in Europe, recruitment for new writers for “The Rambler” article, the 3rd annual health fair being held in April in Roosevelt Hall, editorials written by the students of Farmingdale, letters regarding information about aiding disabled students, teacher evaluations and student aid, poetry section, written games and crosswords in the section for entertainment, upcoming events and shows (circus, Spring Fling, etc), and concluding the article is a section for Rambler personals and sports highlights.
