The Rambler was the student publication of the Farmingdale State Collehe-SUNY. This issue of “The Rambler” in particular starts with editorials about woman speak/man speak, womanhood and how it is different from manhood such as research and psychological studies that prove how different woman are from men (EX: disclosing more personal information than men do, women are more sensitive than men to nonverbal cues, etc.), and the way sexual discrimination works. The following passages include campus news regarding Farmingdale State students being arrested due to committing the crime of cyber scam to withdraw money from ATMs, fitness and eating habits, advertisements including discounts for students during Spring Break 2003 trips to other countries from STS Travel, the career job fair for Farmingdale State University, advertisements to get students involved in student government elections, recruitment for new editors for “The Rambler” news article (specifically those interested in graphic design), “Rampage” comics such as “Ain't I a woman” and “In the Back”, Health and Fitness news articles regarding ways for students to cope with stress, entertainment articles on real-world news, and concluding the news article is the “Rambler Sports” team calendar for the upcoming games.
