The store sells a variety of drinks, snacks, and trinkets, while also having a bar and a deli inside with signature sandwiches that are loved by the community. 

The website reflects an emphasis on their deli, with the main graphic being an order ticket and their sandwich mascot logo in the top right corner. “The Common Market is good” is a phrase that has defined the store, as it remains in their URL today: https://commonmarketisgood.com/ . The phrase along with its handwritten type reflects their friendly, community-centered nature, which they continue to maintain today. They aim to serve as an “uncommon” neighborhood gathering spot, centered around the arts and culture of Charlotte. 

The website was changed in 2017 to a more modern, user-friendly layout.
