Death of Humanity is the Issue
Reza Abedini created this powerful poster for the Burn It All Down magazine in response to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Day. Visually this demonstrates the isolation and pain felt by the Armenian people, with the outline of a figure featuring the faces of the innocent civilians. The use of Arabic calligraphy as shapes to create a pattern is innovative and helps pave the way for Middle Eastern design.
