Eagles New Kid in Town/Victim of Love 7" Vinyl
The Eagles' single New Kid in Town is the first single off of their fifth studio album Hotel California (1977) and was released on December 7th 1976. The song peaked at number one in the US and spent 5 weeks atop the charts. The record also features the B-side Victim of Love.
The 7" double-sided vinyl record features a label with a sky blue and white background designed to look like a blue sky with clouds. The type on the label is made up of all-black sans serif type. The Asylum Records logo is prominently featured on either side, curved with the shape of the vinyl. This particular record has the name “Linda” written in pen on one side of the label for unknown reasons. The record is packaged in a sky-blue sleeve with white Arista Records logos circling the vinyl. The sky-blue color scheme makes the record visually appealing when being played with millions of record players across the world.
