The Rambler student newsletter was published at the State University at Farmingdale, which is now Farmingdale State College-SUNY. This issue of “The Rambler” in particular, is about “reaffirming the living” and “waking the dead”, introducing the concepts and traditions the new generation is beginning to initiate advancements within. The paper covers such individuals, Alan Dale, who is known for his writing and, the most recent being “Anatomy of a Rebellion", which discusses the differences between the new generation and the ”rat race." Dale's focus was to find a new generation of Idealists who would continue the rein of power in our country. The rest of the paper covered topics such as the winter carnival events, campus Christmas party and other upcoming events on campus, sports game highlights, and the schedule for the end of the semester regarding final exams.
