The Rambler student newsletter was published at State University Agricultural and Technical College at Farmingdale which is now Farmingdale State College-SUNY. This issue of “The Rambler” in particular discussed updates on The Long Island Agricultural & Technical Institute such as the political campaign/election to choose a new President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer for the school. This political campaign was considered one of the most rousing the school has ever seen, containing such “hotly contested” candidates in the presidential office. The article covers such events as the Spring Dance, club news, the outcome of the sports team's (baseball/basketball) latest games of the season, and lastly, the food facts of the campus dining hall.
