Since 1985 the AIDS Memorial Quilt has commemorated the lives of people who died from HIV AIDS. The exhibit is now a traveling memorial that is added on to each year by people throughout the world. This section is from a group in Florida. This was found during an exploration into how design has been used for empowerment by marginalized, exploited and underserved groups.
