This is the program catalog for the inaugural Seattle International Film Festival in 1976 that took place between May 14–31 at the Moore Egyptian Theatre. The program designer is thus unknown but could have been one or multiple of the festival directors: Dan Ireland, Darryl MacDonald, and Jim Duncan. Film highlights in the program are The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum by Volker Schlondorff & Margarethe von Trotta (opening night film), Black Moon by Louis Malle, and The Phantom of Liberte by Luis Buñuel.
