The tagline reads:
"Would you throw out your leftover money? Save your money. Don't waste food."
This poster was created for a poster awareness competition with the theme of “Global Food Waste.”
It's an estimated economic loss of over a trillion dollars, and it amounts to 174 pounds of food per person per year. In addition, when waste sits in a landfill, it creates methane, a harmful greenhouse gas. Food waste generates eight to 10 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions.
