For many years, members of rock band R.E.M.’s official fan club received an annual holiday gift package filled with various custom items and memorabilia such as stickers, postcards, calendars, holiday cards and music. From 1988–2003, recordings produced exclusively for the fan club were included.
The 1993 package included:
7-inch vinyl 45 single, titled “1993 Happy Holiday Hoedown Single” including the tracks Silver Bells and and Christmas Time Is Here
