Lomography 100 ISO Black & White 120 Film

1

Film box by Lomography, an Austrian photography equipment brand born from The Lomographic Society International.

The LSI was created in 1992 after a group of Austrian students found a Soviet 35mm point-and-shoot camera called the LOMO LC-A in an old camera shop. The LSI organized photography exhibitions and sold LC-A cameras (which were in high demand and hard to come by outside of Russia). Lomography went online in 1994 and began producing their own LC-A cameras after production stopped in Russia in 1996.

Lomography went on to hold many exhibitions and conferences, make more unique cameras and film, and create an international community inspired by creative candid photos. The quirky, easy to use cameras inspired people to take more spontaneous and experimental photos. This spontaneous and experimental nature is what makes up the Lomography brand.

Lomography is known for its motto, “Don't think, just shoot!”. Lomography is still around over 30 years later, encouraging experimentation and appreciation for analog film cameras. They come out with new products and showcase community photography on Instagram.
