I believe this artifact contributes to the harrowing experience every Flint citizen faced in the mid-21st century. The imagery may be more disturbing to view due to the large print of a firearm on the poster. Arguably, this is what brings the piece together in a picturesque chaos. The author and creator of this print explained he is from Detroit but he wished to express solidarity for the Flint citizens during their intense crisis. The symbolism of staring down the barrel of a gun that is positioned to look like a lead pipe is strong story narrative that implies the government's blatant disregard of its denizens. I love this piece because it cuts to the point while spreading the message of positive propaganda.
