Weekly Boys Jump(週刊少年ジャンプ) Logo

This is a logo for one of the most famous comic magazines in Japan Weekly Boys Jump(週刊少年ジャンプ). This logo was made by a designer in Jump editor Masatoshi Furukawa who used to be a manga writer in this magazine as he dreamed. However, he quit his dream and re-started as a designer and now he has been directing this magazine for 50 years. This character was called “Jump Pirates” by readers, but it appeared to be a non-official name. This logo finally got the name “Ja-ni-” in 2022.
