Join The Air Service poster
This poster was created in 1917 to recruit pilots to the Nascent Army Air Service, which predated the United States Air Force. The poster depicts two soldiers (one with binoculars) in front of a plane on a red white and blue background. The text on the poster reads “Join The Air Service and Serve in France, Do It Now”.
