Boy with a Sling

"The Boy with the Sling," penned by Marry Warren and beautifully illustrated by Sally Matthews in 1965, tells a tale of courage. Set in a quaint village nestled in the rolling hills, the story follows young David, an ordinary boy with an amazing gift for marksmanship. When a ferocious giant threatens his peaceful village, David steps forward, armed only with his trusty sling and bravery. With colorful illustrations,  Through trials and triumphs, David's journey is something that readers young and old can learn from, reminding us of the power of courage, resilience, and faith. The overall condition of the book consists of little edge wear on the corners, but a larger amount of print colors fading, along with yellowing of the pages. There are other stains, though most are on the interior of the book.
