This is the promotional poster for Super Mario Brothers 2 on the Famicom disk system. It was also called Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels due to initially not being released in America for difficulty reasons, later being released under that name. It was marketed for ‘super players’ due to the increased difficulty as a form of progression. It was the most popular game on the disk system at 2.5 million copies. This was before Super Mario gained its iconic multicolored and blocky logo in 1996, instead being a bold, all uppercase red lettering with a bold black outline on a blue ribbon. The brick box behind Mario and Peach likely reference the style of the levels being bricked. Bowser in this poster design also has yellow hair instead of red. The background of soft blue into a white gradient give a soft feel mimicking the cartoon sky in the game. The seal says "Super Mario Bros. 2 Presented by the Mario staff
