Togyū Okumura (1889-1990)

One of the representative Japanese painters of modern Japan.

A characteristic of his work is the exquisite color achieved by applying approximately 100 coats of paint with a brush.
This work depicts two chickens in deep black, but even though they are called black, the outlines are blurred and give the impression of being pale, so you can feel the characteristics of his work.
