This character was created by Ryohei Yanagihara. Uncle Tris is set up as a bartender who likes to make good highballs and likes drinking good highballs even more. He is a charming two-headed character with a pointy nose. Uncle Tris was given the role of a "common, petulant man" to speak for the Showa-era salarymen who were the main drinkers of highballs, and his friendly and humorous appearance has played a role in spreading whiskey culture throughout Japan.
