YaYas Euro Bistro Identity

8

The logo of YaYas Euro Bistro contrasts a script mix of upper and lower case for "YaYas" with capitalized "EURO BISTRO" for a whimsical and personal identity. The texture suggests a brush and ink method on thick watercolor paper. The designer, Patrice Eilts-Jobe, began her designs as hand-drawn sketches, and her staff produced them by computer when they were complete. "YaYa" means grandmother. The restaurant is named after co-founder Paul Khoury's grandmother, who traveled to many European countries as an ambassador's wife and gathered ideas for her unique recipes from her experiences. YaYas identity was one of many collaborations between Patrice and the PB&J restaurant group.
