Similar to the 1965 Decca record sleeves, this version features the contrast of bright red and white. The repeated linear forms create an illusion to the grooves in a used record, a visually compelling design element. This is one of Decca's most original and iconic sleeves, featuring its traditional color scheme and logo. The grid structure is very intuitive and well-constructed. Unlike many other sleeves, it includes the slogan “albums you’ll want to own.” Decca is always so creative in creating compelling campaign slogans that everyone of the time would notice.
