Decca Records Vinyl 45 RPM 1960s Sleeve

6

The front side of this 1960s Decca Records Sleeve features repeated circular forms that create a continuous patter. It also displays the Decca Records logo “a new world of sound.” The design featured on both the front and back of the sleeve is different from the other sleeves of the 1960’s because it features on black ink. Utilizing color was a new effect of the 1960’s. Most Decca sleeves utilize color in interesting ways, but for this early 60’s sleeve that isn’t the case. The design offers high contrast with the black ink.
