The Nintendo DS version of the “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure” game was a video game published by Nintendo October 2009. The cartridge is black in color with a printed sticker graphic on the front displaying the game graphics along with brand logos. There is a stylized type for the title “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure” which is a serif font that is gold with a slight gradient inside. Behind the “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure” title, the background is a very closely cropped illustration of a red-orange leaf. There is an animated firefly to the right of “Tinker Bell” who appears to be glowing with a golden over glow. There is also a path of gold glitter coming from below the title arching above the title ending in a large sparkle. The printed sticker also includes “Disney Fairies” logo, the “Disney” logo, the console logo, the game content rating, a white Nintendo company logo, a gold official Nintendo console seal and game code. Nintendo games have served as a significant part of many generation’s childhoods and remain an inspiration as well as point of growth for future generations. From a design standpoint this game serves as an example of nostalgic graphics, animations, and user interactions for future generations to look back upon, draw inspiration from, and learn from past faults.
