Suica logo designed by Yamamoto Yoji 山本洋司 for one of Japan's largest rechargeable contactless smart card and electronic systems made by East Japan Railway Company. The letters “ic" are framed within the circle and in a different font to identify it as an “IC card” a term used to refer to smart cards in Japan.
