1937 “For country, security. For socializing, tobacco”

This poster was designed in 1937, but the designer was not clarified. This is a poster of Kyoto Southern Tobacco Retailers Association. The text means “For country, security. For socializing, tobacco”. There are two sailors who are smoking, on the back, there are three aircraft and weapons such as a tank. This poster promoted tobacco and security at the same time. I feel a warlike message from this poster.
