Graphic Novel published by Dark Horse Comics in late 2013. This limited series includes 6 issues in total, all of which are contained in this publication. The story follows its main character, “The Girl,” 10 years after the events of Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, a 2013 concept album by My Chemical Romance, as she rises up to take down Better Living Industries, a tyrannical megacorporation that seeks to strip people of their individuality.
Gerard Way, lead singer of My Chemical Romance, co-wrote this series with Shaun Simon, and has established themselves in the world of comics, writing The Umbrella Academy and creating the character of Peni Parker for Marvel Comics in 2014, who was later featured in Marvel's 2018 film Into the Spider-Verse.
